pain medication detox
Analgesics and detoxification?

I have a friend who has been taking prescribe pain medications (Vicodin, etc.) and are trying to quit smoking but is actually having a hard time going through detoxification. Is there anything I can do to help him get through it? When it comes down (trying to stop taking the medicine) that cannot sleep, cannot eat, eat vomit and get sick in the stomach, no energy. This is a serious question. Please mature respect. Thank you.

is detoxified by a doctor? he should only ask because wean him off by car care physician. Either So I think you should go to rehab. If this is something you are doing and your family isn't aware of it after taking the pills can go to a hospital and he may admit to room "mental" to offer this county hospitals also if it doesn't have insurance. My mother was on Percocet and oxcycontin 10 years and stopped taking their medicine and suddenly became very ill and he was told he could of died (not to scare). you are a true friend would help him get well and be understanding. I do not recommend detox at home know that you can take the drug counter and mom to help, but there are too many risks. The more time that was taking the pills the harder it is for him and the more the risks will be involved. I know from personal experience. Best advice I can give is if your family not aware of this action being taken, need to be told immediately and will continue to need your support. I hope they help and good luck to your friend, try and compare search the phone book under the management of pain that still can provide outpatient treatment to be given medication to go out and get rid of medicines on your system. Let him know that no first or last and there is nothing to be embarrassed at all. Good luck take care
