How can I make a colon cleansing supplements though?

I wonder, is there a safe supplement you can take to do a colon cleanse home that you can get from GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc (or a local health store in Orange County, CA)? I do not want to order any product via Internet. Also, how long does it usually take to work? Can I do it all in a day? Because I'm on drugs that I take every day, and I am sure that flush the medication out of my system, but if I could do in the morning ANAD take my medications at night should be great.
